Sauna Radio — About

Sauna Radio is Stockholm’s independent community web radio and filmed music platform.

Founded in 2025 by French producer Harold Boué, also known as Abstraxion, the radio broadcasts from a travelling wooden sauna cabin. Each session brings together DJ sets, live performances, conversations, poetry and art, connecting Stockholm’s local scenes with artists and communities from further away.

The project began on the waterfront at Eden Bastun and was conceived from the start as a moving, year-round platform. The cabin can travel between neighbourhoods, cultural venues, festivals and other cities while keeping the same simple idea at its centre: creating an open place where artists can meet, discover one another and be heard.

Sauna Radio’s programming is freeform and community-led, moving across house, techno, ambient, experimental music, live performance and spoken formats. Alongside the broadcasts, the radio develops takeovers, residencies and collaborations with festivals, institutions, labels and independent radios.

Previous collaborations include Stockholms Kulturfestival, Institut français de Suède, STHLM DANS and projects in Helsinki, Oulu, Berlin and the south of France.

Every filmed session is archived on YouTube, with audio replays also available through SoundCloud. Follow the current Schedule and Events pages to see where the cabin is broadcasting next.
