An all-vinyl selection of groove-led jazz fusion and jazz-funk, with rhythm, warmth and momentum. Barbara Frey is a German vinyl-only DJ and selector based in Malmö, playing regularly across Sweden and Copenhagen. Her sound draws on the warmth of the late 1970s and early 1980s, spanning smooth fusion, jazz-funk and jazz-infused grooves. She is also Music Curator at Resonans Malmö, a platform dedicated to hi-fi listening sessions and the album as an art form.
